The Ring of Gyges is a story Discussed in The Republic by Plato. It discusses about the Morality of people. If you had the power to be invisible and get away with whatever it is that you want in life, would you do it? Or would you be a Just person and not use the power at all unless it is to help others and not yourself?

I ask this question because right now I am working on a Philosophy essay and I have to say that I am very confused about some parts especially some of the questions my professor asks which is even worse than the ones I’ve asked. Hopefully i can finish soon.

I was “learning” microsoft office Excel in my computer science class. it is a beginner class so i have to go through all the basics first, trust me I don’t have to. I took the test this past tuesday and I aced it with flying colors. I also finished almost an hour before most others so I knew I was on the right track.

Next up on the list is Microsoft Office Access which in my opinion is a lot easier. Them we move on to Powerpoint and Microsoft Word which is the easiest of them all.

If you are in college there should be a place where you can get your own advisement report which tells you what classes you need in the future so that you can plan out your graduation. I get one and that is why I am telling you.

You should look at your advisement report thoroughly and map out when you have to take a class or when you want to take a class. It will greatly help you plan things out and graduate on time. I have seen people not look at the Advisement report until their senior year which is a VERY bad idea. You should contact your advisor or counselor and see where you can get your advisement report. Very important in any college student’s career.

Today was Disappointed big time when I looked at the portfolio grade that I got for my english project. The same one I had to go to class almost three hours early for a little meeting with my professor. I expected to get an ‘A’ but instead got a B+.

I don’t really see this as a negative, just a disappointing grade. Now after she gave me feedback I now know what I have to do in the future to satisfy her. I know I didn’t make my heuristic as best as it could have been and so I get to work on that.

But still…B+…bahhh!

I had to make a Mix CD for my english class for this assignment. We have been working on this for about three weeks and tomorrow is the due date. I finished the work early and today I finalized the CD and burned it out. I just finished listening to the five songs in the track to make sure they are the ones and its all good.

I am happy to have finished this because I know people are still stressing over this because of all the requirements. It was a lot of work but it was easy work so I didn’t mind doing it at all. I hope I get no less than an ‘A’ otherwise I’ll be a bit mad.

Every week I am supposed to get an essay question from my Philosophy Ethics class which I am supposed to answer in essay format and give to him the following week. This Friday I have my first report due and I haven’t really finished yet.

It is about Meno’s Paradox. Not sure if you will know what that is but I have an idea and I have to broaden that up to write a 3 page essay on it in the next day. I plan to start in a few minutes and hopefully will get to finish up soon.

I went to my writing center appointment at Noon earlier today. It was actually better than I thought and when you aren’t looking at the clock it actually goes by pretty fast. I had an appointment with a tutor named Stephen and he was pretty good.

I had to go because it was mandated by my english professor and it wasn’t that bad. I am glad to have gotten it over with because now I can focus on the rest of my assignments and finishing up this one for monday.

I stated a few days ago just how long the book shipment was taking, it’s been about two weeks since I ordered and I finally got it. I had to actually go to the post office to pick it up because the mail man came yesterday and was not able to find me because I was at class. I don’t blame him.

At least I got it just in time, I couldn’t afford to have this book sent back to the seller, I wouldn’t know how the refund policy would go or if I would even get one. I am glad my first Amazon transaction went smoothly.

Earlier today I had to buy a new book called The Theological Traditions of Christianity 2nd Edition from the book store near my school. it cost me roughly $80 and yea I believe it is a waste of money but what can you do. You need to buy the books once you get to college.

I am still short two books and hopefully I will be able to get them soon and in time. I ordered a few off the internet and so far NONE of them has gotten here. One said they tried to ship it to us today but so far nothing. Hopefully it gets here soon.
