Yes, that’s right, Juna Web finally added on the Shoutcast hosting service. You will still have to wait a bit longer to be able to order the service because we are still testing as the title suggests. I’ve been running a test shoutcast server at home for over an hour now and so far so good.

We have to see how the server handles the load and how smooth it is and two good friends are helping me out with testing the quality on 32 kbps bitrate and so far it is smooth as ice.

Hopefully it is ready for launch by friday night. That’ll be a treat.

Over the past 3 days with Juna Web’s New server we had to install cPanel 3 times. Well technically it is 1 install followed by 2 reinstalls to fix a lot of bugs and wrongs with the server. It was kind of annoying but after the third time, it is going fine.

I needed a break from it so I thought I’d come by and post about it. But when my break is over, I have to go back and configure some of the options and make a few packages. Hopefully they work properly now.

Yesterday the vBulletin team announced the latest stable version of vBulletin 3.8.0. This one came out MUCH faster than 3.7 which took months and months and months which was annoying. This one improves a little on the features and they look pretty good.

Since it was just released as being stable, I will not upgrade my forum yet, I will give it some time for the bugs to come out and be fixed.

In January, my hosting company and I are working on ways to offer reseller and shoutcast services for all of our clients. This is huge because we have not done this before and hopefully this will get us more clients and more sales helping us grow our budget to add on more servers and do a bit more advertising.

We only have to wait and see how things turn out and since I have just three weeks left before starting classes again, I really have to pick up the pace on setting things up. The new theme of Juna Web will also be released with these services and I just cannot wait for it. Exciting stuff here.

Since I am almost done with my Juna Web redesign I was thinking about starting to design a few more wordpress themes and see if I can sell them off or sell some sponsored link positions on them for some extra money over the break. I am still bad at designing but hopefully I will figure something out.

I will keep on working and then make up my mind over the weekend and see if I can get some quick wordpress template designs in a PSD and start working on them by the new year. All plans that have to be worked on.

I have been working on the Juna Web’s new look for hours earlier today and I am almost done. I had to code it in html at first and maybe the day after christmas I will convert it to php and set things up.

Hopefully it all works out because I need to get this done by January for a new release. Fingers crossed here.
