Having to Give a Survey

Either later on tonight or tomorrow, you may find me posting a little survey here from a place called Survey Monkey. It is for a homework that I plan to do and I need a few responses. It is not mandatory for you to take the survey but it would help me and I would greatly appreciate it.

I am still working on finishing up the little survey and hopefully have it finished soon and ready to post up. It is about gaming, just a heads up on that and it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes of your time. And thanks in advance for anyone looking to participate.

Higher Cable Bill

I got my Cable bill today and the rate has increased by about $15. That’s because I had a deal with Time Warner Cable that I’d pay $15 less on my internet bill for a year. Well that year is up and now the bill is a full $125 which is crazy considering college and having no physical job besides college.

But the thing Is, I don’t think I can go without internet for a few days. I have a lot of work to do online, especially from my english class so that’s something as well as work on my websites. So back in 2004 when there was a Power Outage in northeast North America, I was literally getting bored to death because there was no electricity, thus no internet.

The Ring of Gyges is a story Discussed in The Republic by Plato. It discusses about the Morality of people. If you had the power to be invisible and get away with whatever it is that you want in life, would you do it? Or would you be a Just person and not use the power at all unless it is to help others and not yourself?

I ask this question because right now I am working on a Philosophy essay and I have to say that I am very confused about some parts especially some of the questions my professor asks which is even worse than the ones I’ve asked. Hopefully i can finish soon.

Finished Excel

I was “learning” microsoft office Excel in my computer science class. it is a beginner class so i have to go through all the basics first, trust me I don’t have to. I took the test this past tuesday and I aced it with flying colors. I also finished almost an hour before most others so I knew I was on the right track.

Next up on the list is Microsoft Office Access which in my opinion is a lot easier. Them we move on to Powerpoint and Microsoft Word which is the easiest of them all.

Simpsons Season 20

Last Sunday the Simpsons ran their 20th season of the series. They have been on for 20 years now and that is something they should be proud of. It is without question my favorite show of all time. I have watched some episodes as much as 20 times if I had to guess and still don’t get bored.

And as time goes by they are getting bigger and better and the graphics have improved tremendously over the past 2 decades, no doubt.

I wish them luck on another 20 seasons if possible so they can go into the record books as one of the longest running shows EVER and so that I have something to watch for the next 20 years.
