I just came back from the parade held for the Yankees by New York City and I have to say, what a parade. I had a blast and the award ceremony was great especially when they had Jay Z give us some extra entertainment with his music. The Yankees deserve this win and for the yankees, waiting 9 years for a world title is a long time, but at least they got there.

I enjoyed the day and hopefully will be able to do it again next year when they win their 28th title. They could be the first franchise in sports history to win 50 titles in the future which would be an amazing goal. Hopefully I’m still here to enjoy it.

Earlier tonight, the Yankees won their 27th world series title which is the most championships won by any sports franchise in history and I am so glad I watched it. Hideki Matsui aka Godzilla hit a two run home run, a 2 run single, and a two run double getting 6 RBIs in that one game which ties a record set decades ago.

Matsui was awarded the MVP of the world series and I am happy for him. It is his last year with the Yankees in his contract but hopefully they renew because losing him will be a huge loss for the yankees. Congratulations to the Yankees and hopefully they hit 28 next year!

Today is Halloween and I know kids are already out trick or treating but I would still ask you to be very careful once you are out there going from one house to another. It is impossible to tell the kinds of people that live in those houses so always travel in groups and have an adult chaperon there at all times.
